Awareness on the Golf Course (Golf is Fun) Video

July 17, 2011

Hi everyone!
I hope you all are enjoying your summer and getting out to golf when the time permits!  Now that the weather has turned for the better up here, the summer sprint is on and it’s flying by.  Today, I just wanted to share a YouTube video with you all regarding a particular golfer’s need for awareness on the golf course and the effects of that syndrome.  It is my first YouTube video and it is a few minutes long but I have a suspicion you may laugh once or twice.  The filming was barely rehearsed and the acting is almost all improvisation.  I like it because it is a reminder that although we as golfers constantly strive to get better at this game, there are plenty of moments along the way in which to enjoy our pursuit.

If this syndrome is affecting you or a loved once, contact your golf professional today.

I will have to learn the technical aspects of creating higher quality YouTube videos with proper screen width etc. but hopefully it was worth watching.   Enjoy the pursuit.
Have a great day.

Thanks Sara and Sophie! You’re right on, Golf should be fun. Lets all commit on bringing a positive and fun attitude each time to the course. What did MicKelson do this weekend? He pretended it was his first British Open and enjoyed the moment, resulting in his best Open finish. And throughout his final round Darren Clarke was smiling and joking with fellow competitor Dustin Johnson. It’s a crazy game, try your best, treat people nicely, and be honest. Do that and people will think your a winner.

    Hi Sara,

That’s put a big dumb grin on my face on a rainy Monday morning, thank you! I for one will be practicing the “baby bird in flight” grip througout this week 😉

    Looking forward to more videos!

Your creativity put a smile upon my face. Reminds me of the song, “Make someone happy…..just one person happy, and you will be happy too.” Not certain how you can top this one! Liked the giggles too.
